Does anyone have any old PCs that they would be willing to get rid of for free. I was thinking of starting a little folding farm in my dorm. I figured we all have old PCs that we dont use anymore and why not use them for a good cause such as reasearching cures for diseases and such. (Computers also generate a lot of heat and could heat up my chilly dorm room lol.) If you donate a computer I will run whichever folding program you want.
PS I live in NY and go to school in PA. I was hoping to get some local pickups.(shipping is too costly for a poor college student)
I believe that it is illegal to solicit donations on these forums, even if it is for a good cause. Besides, if someone wanted to run a DC project on their system, they would already be doing it.
