Hey, Truckie how fast is that Intel P3? Are most motherboards made for PII cabable of using a PIII?

Also, is that TNT 32mb able to work in an 8x AGP slot?

Rand, that's too much of a generalization on the mb question. Some are, some aren't, depends largely on the bus speed and whether there's a bios flash to make it work. What mb are you thinking about using it in and I'll bet we can find out

Well, the computer is realy old and is a Compaq Presario 5170. Generally do most PIIs intercangeable with PIIIs? My PII is only 347 mhz

The PIII is 500mhz. The TNT is an AGP card...but an older one. I am unsure of how it would work. It is sold as is because i have no way of testing cpus or video cards ATM.

PS: RAND, you do understand that the cpu your looking at is a slot cartridge? Its not the normal cpu
