Before I ebay these laptops, I figured I'd give 'em a shot here. I fell in love with my friend's new 40Gb 3rd gen iPod today and want one really bad. Obviously, the 40Gb model is a little out of reach at $469 so I'd like a 2nd gen 20Gb model or a 3rd gen 10gb. I'd even consider a PC-friendly 1st gen if I'm in a good mood
. I have these laptops to trade, but I'm pretty low on cash. I figure that the two laptops together are worth around $270 based on ebay prices, which is the same as a new 10Gb or a refurb 20Gb model.

-----Bad battery- I opened it up to see what kind of cells it takes but it turned out to be uneconomical to replace them. I can inculde the bad battery though.
I also have a carying case and will shortly have a universal car/airplane power adapter.
