I'm thinking about selling my old HP Pavilion:

Pentium III 800MHz
512MB RAM
40 Gig hard drive (acting up lately)
1 DVD and 1 CD-RW drive
floppy
modem
GeForce 4 MX420

Sorry if I'm a bit vague with descriptions but I'm not so sure what it's got in it, so I hope this is enough for some sort of estimate.

Personal opinion here, so take it for what its worth.... am sure others will vary. I am not an expert at determining used computer values.

Given that the hard disk has been acting up, and that its an HP Pavilion, it takes a couple of knocks in my book.

Depending on what the brands/speeds are of the DVD and CDRW drives, I'd say that $100 - $150 is a fair estimate.

I'd say more around $250, with an OS, more.

If you really wanna get rid of it, part it out.
