WTB: 20 or 40 GIG Hard Drive - Inexpensive

I am looking for a friend. His computer recently started acting funny, and he needs a new hard drive, but cash flow is an issue. If anyone has any for sale, 20 or 40 gig drive, and are willing to part with it (in working order of course ), for a decent price, with shipping, please PM me. Have you tried looking in the sunday ads (if they have them up there in canada )

Usally they have some cheap harddrives on sale, only problem there is a mail in rebate.


Also, i see you are from canada, will you pay in Canadian or American?

I am trying to avoid buying up here (which is actually more expensive for computer parts where I am) and then having to send to the US. He is going to pay American and would like to have it done directly from US to US. Saves all the hassles of going through customs, and paying fees there. He basically has looked all over his area, techbargains, ebay, etc., and has been unable to find one and end up winning it. I have had 2 sales set up and have emailed them for payment info, and 1 sold it from under me as I was going to pay them, and the other, well that just ended up being a bust. I have replied to people on here, but some dont get back to you, so its been hard to make a deal work. That and like I said, funds are short, so I am trying to help do this the most economical way.
