This is a fanless heatsink. However it comes with a 92 mm fan. If your computer is below 1500 mhz you can actually run this without the fan making for no noise at all!

Just wondering if anyone has any experience with this product and if you would recommend it.

i personaly use this exact hs....it rocks...the temp drop from my old hsf combo was about 22deg.F and the noise level went down so much i started to check to see if it was still running(that 8000rpm fan was LOUD!!!!!but the 2500rpm 92mm fan is super quite.i paid abuot $35 for mine three mo. ago so this is a pretty good deal.......go for it

I just bought that HSF for a system build this weekend. The prices on them acutally went UP after I bought it.

I'm gonna try an AMD 1700 with just a side fan and blowhole fan in a Maxtop Case. I will be shooting for a super quiet Net Surfer for the bedroom.

I'll let you know the results, but It wll be a week or so.
