WTB: Inspiron 5000 motherboard
Does anyone know where I can get a working motherboard for this laptop?

I'd be willing to pay at least $100.

Thanks for the offer, but I doubt that would quite fit the bill. I've got everything I need to complete this laptop but the motherboard, and too much money has already been invested in getting this one working to drop it and get a total replacement. (It's actually not my laptop, it's one I'm working on for a friend.)

Thanks, but I already tried them. They don't have any in stock, and if they did they'd want about $350 for one, which is basically as much as the laptop is worth.
