You have to shop around at discount ink websites for the cartridge.

I've got two 6L's - the last time I bought a toner cartridge, it was around $65 for genuine HP. Worth every penny, too - the cart's rated for 2500 pages & actually does last me years!


shahani, I'd consider getting yours as a back-up, but I'm afraid the shipping would make it prohibitive just to have it collect dust.
But... LMK if you've got a cheap way to send it to St Louis!
