well, i am not too familiar with MP systems, but is it possible to use one of those MP procs in a board that does XP procs??? i would like to buy one of those 2000 MPs if i can use it in my A7S333 Asus board(runs up to 24 or 2700 XP)

Stick with XP processors. Same thing as MP, just not multi-processor capable. You'd be wasting money buying an MP...

MP2600 costs at the cheapest $179 vs. XP2700 at $129...

wow, kinda expensive...now i see why u want 370 for this rig...looks like i will hafta stay with XP for awhile, all i really need is a 24 or 2600....even my 1700 would work, but i have other uses for it atm...

Well, the cheapest you'll find the S2466N-4M in walk-in stores are about $229.00 and up.. On the Internet from a reputable store such as neweggs costs $206.00. As far as the processors go, they run for $120.00 each at newegg and much higher at retail stores..


Anyways...
