wtb: computer case

i don't want anything fancy, but would like something with a good psu to support my system for a while in the future. don't care about any of that window stuff or the fancy lights.

just want a beige(or ivory if you will) case with about 4 5.25" bays and a couple internal 3.5" and at least one external.

if anyone knows of any real good deals on any site, i would be happy to know about them. I don't want to pay much over $100 with shipping included.

This may be your cheapest bet for the case...I know it cost me ovr $20 to ship a case the one time I did it...shipping usually kills the best deals. These cases are shipped free.
This is another option...both are good cases.
Ive ordered several cases from Amamax and never had a problem. (including these)
You dont really want the PSU's that come with the cases from here...I have 2 sitting in a box collecting dust...they are not good quality...but this one is.
I normally dont recomend going cheap on the PSU but these are of good quality.

same for you jp, how are these cases to work in. they look like a really good deal, but would hate to get something that you have trouble working out of.

was really hoping to get something that has those slide rails and a case that opens up easy and is easy to put back together.

Slide rails are a HUGE pain in the Butt...trust me...stay away from them.
Two simple screws hold on the side and it comes off easy... the inside is a nice size and no sharp edges that Ive found...
I really like the black one I bought for myself.
Pretty much as easy to work in as any other case I've used...

Wondering what troubles you've had w/ the rail JP, I love 'em!
They facilitate the frequent installation and removal of my drives.

idea for ya

I wouldnt reccomend a raidmax if my live depended on it.....enermax has always been a well respected and faithfull manufacturer capible of powering the current top agp cards, raid arrays, and newer high consumption motherbaords. You can get them now in the $75 range from newegg (450watt). I wouldnt go any lower then 450 watts at the current time let alone in the future. Newegg.com also has many cases in the $30-$50 range that meet your needs. Beware of those included psu's though. I have found that they arent even good enough to power my fans.
You'll notice that with them your drives my get louder and you will occasionally to frequently get ide errors. Though they claim a certain wattage you must remember that that is a peak wattage and they ussually make no mention as to the stability.
