At Home FS: 1.33C Athlon MOBO+256PC133

SOLD!

For sale:

A K7VTA2 Motherboard with a 1.33C GHz[266FSB] Athlon Thunderbird CPU and 256MB of Kingston PC133 SDRAM.

Has motherboard booklet, original driver CD

*note* due to the idiocy of a "passerby" the jumpers to allow the motherboard to become DDR functional have been lost... all 55 of them. Like 1 giant row of jumpers that must be linked together to achieve DDR compatibility.

Motherboard supports 2 SDR or 2 DDR ram sticks.

Heatsink is a Coolermaster that was designed to cool a 2100+ palomino, and the fan was removed and replaced with a Vantec Tornado fan. 7500RPM 60mm and dang loud, but cools like crazy. Great for overclocking as the Thunderbird cores get pretty hot as it is. 150MHz FSB can be anchieved on this motherboard, and it has, run stabily, but brought back to stock speeds for sake of storage/disaster prevention.

Asking price for all 3 together, $75 + 5 shipping [2 day express]

any questions please PM me

thanks!

Hey, you should keep it, wanna know a cheap replacement for the jumper?

Staples! I've used them before as jumpers, they work just as great. You will have to use needle nose pliers to take them out but it's worth it if you need an emergency jumper.

unfortunately regular jumpers don't fit, they're like the little ones on the undersides of hard drives.

besides, i have no use for this computer, i already have too many This one is just to compensate some recent spending.

i was thinking phone wire and glue there are sooo many of these jumpers, if you wanted to DDR this board, you'd need time and a bag o' chips

bump

if someone is intersted, i can exchange the K7VTA2 for a Shuttle AK-32 Motherboard for an extra 10 dollars, and it has SDR + DDR slots as well, but only 1 jumper is required to change between.. and YES it is there.

LordKwikSilva: unfortunately no, i don't have a video card that i can toss in, all i have are a couple of trident PCI 1MB'ers and if you sent hunting dogs to the right spot, a 2MB PCI SIS card.

open for business still, i have had an offer, and i responded, but have not had a reply.

thanks!

try my trick DPS, just get some staples and a pair of needle nose pliers and go at it. Since they are 55 jumpers, time it should take you is 30 mins. Faster if you use telephone wire with the needle nose pliers, they won't go any where, also some cable cutters (small ones ofcoarse) will do great at cutting the wire
