for sale, a 3 month old AMD Athlon 2400+ AIUHB CPU

readily overclocks to 166 FSB @ 12.5 multi = 2700+

I haven't ever pushed the voltage above 1.75 to achieve bigger Overclocks because i don't want to hurt it too bad.

runs relatively cool, my slk 800A will run it at 52C 100% full load all the time [FaD] w/ case on and 1 silent case fan.

Pricewatch advertises $86 for this new and shipped, so how about $70 shipped from me?

hehe...too slow??? how is 2400 OC'd to 2700 easy too slow?? damn man, i am runnin a 1700 still, best damn computer i have ever owned in my life(no really, i ran a 233 til this past may )

glad to hear that there are so many out there eager to purchase!

I just sold rourkchris a 2600+ about 2 minutes after i sold him this 2400+.. so next time ill post it up for grabs to anybody. fair game that way.

as for the speed aspect, im not really worried that a 2700+ wasn't fast enough, in fact, it was/is plenty fast. Im just looking to get a barton core and try my luck with one of those, apparently the bigger L2 cache will help me in my 3D modeling, but will work against me in the rendering phases. [thats what my 1700+ is for]

ive got another cpu and motherboard for sale here, ill post it up in another thread in a few minutes.
