Here we have a genuine mobile AMD Athlon XP 2000+ for notebooks or any other use. It runs on a 1.5v vcore and I'm pretty sure it is the standard 45W mobile version. It uses the standard Socket A interface, and works in desktops fine. Runs cool, 42C under complete 100% stress with the s****y AMD retail aluminum heatsink at 1.6v (my mobo wouldn't give it 1.5v because it defaulted to 1.575v.). I'm sure it would run under 40C under stress at 1.5v. I looped it through SiSoft Sandra 2003 Burn-In test at 100% full CPU stress, and it finishes flawlessly.
Let's say $75 shipped to anywhere in the USA. This CPU will probably work in all notebooks using the standard mobile XP processor. However, it is not the SFF small package CPU. It is the standard Socket A (462-pin). Would make a great CPU upgrade for a laptop or SFF barebones. It would be ideal for a cool-running Shuttle XPC box. I will give a DOA (dead on arrival) warranty. Chip only.
These mobile processors are extremely rare, so don't let this one get away. KnowledgeMicro is the only online retailer I know of that sells mobile Athlon XP processors, and they're selling their mobile 2000+ for $85 shipped.
