Kids ATX WITH AT HOOKUP

I need info on atx motherboards that have dual power connectors. I've got 5 At&t globalyst 630 units with FIC PSK2000 motherboards that all boot to A,C but have error message "floppy disk fail (40)" I think the floppy controller is bad and I would like to upgrade these boards to ATX if possible.

Welcome to TechIMO, luddite!
Some mobos make it possible to disable floppy access in BIOS. Companies like this, prevents data from going home with the employee.
Are you certain the cables are correctly installed at both ends of the cable?
Are you certain the floppy is still good afterwards?

Systems Floppy

Thanks for the reply. All of the computers will boot to C after hitting F1. When I try to check the driver in win98 system it detects no problem yet when I insert a disk I get an error message "the device is not ready". I have checked in bios to make sure "floppy seek" is enabled. I have even tried with "floppy swap" enabled. Same results-floppy disk failure. These have Award bios, and are pretty simple to understand. I know that Gainward made the atx with at power connectors but I haven't found any on the web. Do you know of any other manufactuers that made boards like this?

not trying to insult your knowledge, but its usually something stupid, like the floppy cable is twisted or something...make sure you find the pin1 side of the floppy controller on the mobo, match it up with the red marked wire, then make sure the other end that goes into the floppy has the twist at the end, and that the marked red wire on the cable is facing the power plug....maybe thatll help...good luck!
