[WTT] need 25' crossover cable

never mind, i have a regular cable im going to try to convert to a crossover cable...post any comments here about it, if you have done it, anything like that.


make that 4port of better router i now need..atleast 4ports anyway..have bunch of stuff to trade....

Making a crossover is simple. Just get a pair of crimpers and an extra cable end. Then just cut off one end of the cable and rewire it switching wires 1 for 3, and 2 for 6 relative to the other end of the cable. All others are not used and can be removed. Let me know if you need any help. I can give you a call and walk you through it if you like. The only tricky part is getting all the wires lined up before you crimp.

thanks for the offer, i already mad eone, but have now discovered that a hub with up link doesnt mean crap after all...i need a router...thanks for the offer on the call though, i appreciate it!
