Does the plug look propietary or anything like that? If you can get the specs on the power cube and plug- you could run down to a goodwill or radio shack and buy an AC>DC adapter.

no one has an extra huh...damn


edit:they want $25 for the plug...and i cant bypass the plug, its a jack-soldered-to-the-board type deal, i already tore it apart weighing my options....

You could call up AL and they may sell ya one for large $$$ but myself I would open the unit and bypass the plug

Did you manage to get hold of a new power cord? I'm based in the UK and need a replacement Ac Adapter for my ACS340 speaker system. no joy from either Dell or Altec, so any help in locating parts would be most welcome.

As neither Altec nor Dell is interested in resolving this (I cannot believe neither has spares) makes one think hard about buying from either of them again.

What can go wrong with an AC adapter anyway?
