I will include the USB to Converter cable, you can download the drivers from any of these sites.

This was gently massaged by my cable modem for a few months, I'm not using it now. I believe it can also be used to set up a network connection with two desktops.

I've been wondering this lately...I have the same thing, my cable company gave it to me when they installed my cable internet 3 years ago...

Since I rent my modem from them...is that converter mine, or theirs?

If you rent the modem from them, they most likely "gave" you the converter because you didn't have an ethernet card on your computer.
