PriceCheck on 14.1 ibook with dead red pixel

i bought an 800mhz, 256Mb Ram, 30Gig, CDRW+DVD drive, with an otherwise beautiful 14 inch screen that just happens to have a suck red pixel. now i am considering selling it.

if i could place a graph on the screen with 0 being the center of it and each end being 10 the pixel would be located at (-4,3) otherwise known as the upper left middle.

now this would not be such a problem if you do things like word processing or content creation. when you see lighter colors around ( light grey/white/red/pink etc...)the red pixel it is unnoticable.

again i am just considering selling this, depending on how much i can get for it, the ibook is in good condition with two or three light scratches and will be sent with the original packaging, CD's , AC outlet and VGA adapter. everything will be under warranty until late november of this year.

the lowest i would go for this is $1,100

Price checks are only allowed when it's a unique item that isn't on Pricewatch.. I found one (the only one) on there for $1523 shipped. You'd have to knock some off since it's got the dead pixel and a bunch because it's not only used, it's almost out of warranty.

I suggest looking at recent eBay auctions, then either coming back here with a price or selling it there.
