Those prices are not too high at all, but most people are probably happy with the Free-After-Rebate cheapo nics that they can get at compusa or whatever. IMO, the 3C9** nics are some of the best around, but people don't generally look for quality in that type of component.
The next time I need a nic though, I'll check back here to see if you still have them.
