wanting to use this to setup a small LAN so friends can play when they crash over here......thinking more like 500-700....i doubt anyonewill want to give anythign like that up though. but it doesnt hurt to ask.

You could prolly get a refurbished mobo and a new duron if you're willing to spend closer to 60-70.

It's not too out there, i mean 40 bux for a 700mhz CPU/mobo...you'll get it

i got a board that i can sell ya for what i payed, 40 bux....K7S5A PRO rev 3.0....bought it from faust69us on timo here, and dont need it....just lying around as a backup board atm....bought an asus a7s333 b4 i bought this other board, and forgot i did, and ende up with 2 boards no cpu, but check ebay...i got a 1700XP for 30 bux, OEM...LMK
