newnovice: You get the drivers at pcchips.com or sis.com for the SiS 730S chipset. I don't have the links here right off hand, so you'll have to look for them on the site. However, XP may have the corrected drivers already. If the sound is working real well, you may not need to change the drivers. The first set of drivers for this board, dating from the year 2000 or 2001, produced noticable artifacts in the sound quality of the onboard chip. If you heard it you'd know.

you can bump all u want,but i do really appreciate liquidmotion honest opinion about this sys. eliminating buying a lemon in the first place.all those "defenders"about crapping,are giving a hand in the "scheme" without realizing it.
a good sys. sell fast ,and i expect this board(family)members to help at least with free opinion if they can do so.
this is no way about corsair personality which is intact.

I personally don't agree with that at all.........if someone is unsure of the quality of an item that someone posts for sale, they should take the time to do some research or ask quesions of the seller or someone whose opinion they trust............also, opinions of brands/board vary a lot and while I may say "so and so" brand is complete junk, you may have total and complete confidence in anything they make..........I think it's very inappropriate to interfere in someone's sale like that..........I mean, I don't want to see anyone ripped off (not insinuating that this sale would do that), but I feel that judgement should be left to the interested buyers unless they ask otherwise............if it was your sale, I am sure you would feel the same way............
