This is the real stuff, not cheap knockoffs, each length of tape is 1/2 inch wide and .005mm thick.
Each length of tape has bumply yellow backing that you peel off and throw away, like a thin layer of plastic that comes off.
All you need to do is cut four 1 inch sections to cover the feet of your existing mouse. You could remove the old feet, but there is no need for that.
I'd recommend cleaning the bottom of the mouse throughly before application, to ensure proper sticking.
I used a q-tip/paper towel with a little regular isopropyl alcohol to remove the funk under there. Avoid the optical eye if you have one.
This tape works fantastic, my personal mouse glide smooth like butter and fast too, you might have to turn down your mouse sensitivities even!
It takes a little getting use to, but once you do, there is no more going back to the old rough as wrinkles method.
It works even better on Ratzpads or Everglide type mouse pads.
Don't pay more for those so called mouse skatez, when you can get the same thing for a lot lesser!
