FS: Teflon tape for your mouse

Hey everyone, I just bought some teflon tape for my mouse, and I seem to have some left over. It’s ¼ inch wide tape, and it’s extremely slick. I am currently using it on several mice. I have an MX700 (same as MX500), Logitech Mouseman, and several Microsoft mice. They have all become a thousand times easier to navigate with after applying the Teflon tape. The tape I have is very similar to the MouseSkatez that Everglide sells, except that it comes in thinner strips, and lasts much longer. The Everglide strips would only last about 2 weeks, and then wear out. I’ve been using this stuff for over a month, and it hasn’t needed replacing. This is really amazing stuff, and it’s great for gaming. Works perfectly with the Func 1030 pad, everglide pads, and ratpadz, and it keeps your mouse feet from wearing down.

I’ve cut the stuff into strips, and I’m selling it for $2.50 for 17 inches, same price as Everglide, except that I won’t charge absurd amounts for shipping, and I'm giving you lots more.

If you'd like to buy more, like a few yards, I can give you a discount. PM me for details.

Since the stuff comes in a roll, I had to un stick it, and then stick it onto a small piece of plastic. It should still be sticky, as the ones I’ve used on my mouse still are.

It takes about 1/2 inch of tape to cover a little mouse foot. If you think you'll need an extra inch or so to be able to do that third mouse, just let me know. I'll be glad to send it to you for free.

I take non-CC Paypal only. Heatware under Eric1285, and eBay under Mistasupreme.

Please email all offers to ewu1285@hotmail.com.

I'm not sure if you have some new age teflon tape with some sticky substance on the back or what but im pretty confident that they have that at home depot for like $5.00 for like a 100 foot roll. Im sure your stuff is really good though.

The stuff you are referring to is PTFE tape I believe. It is used for plumbing, and is really good for nothing else. This is different stuff, not available at any hardware store I've been to. This stuff has an adhesive on the back, and is made especially for reducing friction. Most people think that it can't possibly make that big of a difference on there mouse...after all, they've been getting along just fine. Try this stuff out though, and you'll realize that the difference is huge. It's absolutely essential for hardcore gaming.

The tape that Override is talking about is about a quater of an inch THICK. The stuff that Eric is talking about is slim, and is a quater of an inch WIDE.

BTW, Teflon tape won't stick to anything, it is held in it's place by pressure and will stick to itself only unless put against a non-porus surface, then it will just stay there until some weight gets to it. But pretty much it's only used for joining threads for gas/air/water solutions, and it's stronger cousin is used for hydraulics as well. I generally don't use Teflon tape that much, just for an emergency, other wise than that I will spend the 8bucks for the can of Rector Seal 5 slow dry. And I hate that Teflon based imitation that they make.

If its the same as these then its good stuff, I use it on all my mice.

Of course if he's really cool, he'd actually tell us where he got em from, so we can all get it for cheap, but seeing his 2 post standing, I doubt it

The fragware store has something more similar to what I'm selling, but as far as I know, they give you 10 inches for $2. Why not get 17 inches? My tape does have an adhesive, so it does stick to your mouse.

Just check my heatware feedback under Eric1285 to see what people have to say.
