Freaky, are the modems HSP (Host Signal Processor) or not? I have a friend with an older system that needs a modem but his processor won't support most HSP modems... he needs a fully functional independant stand alone modem.
He is also in the market for a used HD so let me know what ya got for sale.

If by HSP that means WinModem, then yes, they are HSP. Sorry.

HSP and Winmodems are not the same. HSP is the absolute worst and Winmodems a a bit better. I'm not certain if a Winmodem will work on his or not.
