For Sell: 512mb Crucial pc2100 ddr registered ecc ram

I have (2) sticks of 256 (total of 512mb) ram.

Specs are: Crucial DDR pc2100 (266Mhz), Registered, ECC (error correction code), CL=2.5.

Part # is CT3272Y265 at www.crucial.com
They are selling for $54.99 right now and I've had these for under a year. This high quality ram is widely used (but not limited to) in servers for it's error correcting capability. They work perfectly...anyone interested?

sorry, i have no clue what interest checks are. can someone explain? as for price, i would like to sell both sticks for $75 (25% off original, new price). as for shipping, i live in Texas and i will not charge s/h to anyone in the 48 lower states. if anywhere else in the world, any other charges that i would have to pay will apply.

Would you be willing to seperate them? If so, PM me. I've got 512 in a system and could really use 768, but a gig is overkill. LMK!

I actually thought that a year ago, but started to wonder...

Is a gig really overkill when you've got 512 and an in-use paging file of 1300mb? (set for 768-1536 instead of 512-768 due to so many errors)

I put in a gig (crucial) and the paging file has significantly dropped (to my minimm) and no more errors.

I dunno, could be a fluke in my case.

I have 1GB of memory in my home PC .. when i open Photoshop and Illustrator at the same, time to do some work, i can deal with big files without any slowness most of the time.
My work PC with 512MB will slow down at some points due to page file usage.

If you do a lot of digital work with big files and you have a solid OS (win2k XP or linux) then this deal is a great one.

Besides, Crucial is the best
