FS / FT Win ME upgrade

THIS IS PENDING TO A FORUM MEMBER

Win Me upgrade cd in a case with cd key on it. Not an oem product.

This is an original, legitimate cd with the hologram, even the case has microsoft name and imprint and that on it. Actually the whole cd is kind of all one monogram if you know what I mean. It is totally genuine. There is even a hologram on the bottom that says "genuine" inside it.
I assure you it is genuine, legit, legal, and original.

It also has other microsoft info and such on the sleeve, along with
product key, cd set number, part number, that sort of stuff.


Iam asking $40 for it. I am willing to trade it for:
P3 or socket a mobo, sdram, ddr ram, cpu, drives
of any type, what have you? No old AT stuff, please.

I would not sell a backup or copy here and take a chance of ruing my reputation for under $40. Maybe a couple thou, but not $40 or less!!

I did point out that it is the "upgrade" version, so you must have win 98 or win 98SE already installed and then install this upgrade.
It likely will work with win95 as well i imagine.

don't kill me for trying to "warez" your post, but let it be known that you can do a full install with an upgrade ME CD, you just need to have something else boot with CD rom support, then to D:\setup command. But please own a previous version of windows for the sake of legality.

oh yeah nork, bump! about those hard drives, there was a recent power surge in town, and guess how many people had HDD failures? 5, im outta hard drives..., ill PM you when i get more that i don't "need"

No prob, you are adding to the list of info available and with no negative content, so no prob at all. I did know about that but the fact is you still need to own a legit copy of a lesser win os anyway, to make it legal. And this forum is for legal-only h\ware and s\ware, hence no need to mention that. Heck, you could use a win boot disk and do the same.

But no harm in doing so either!

yes i do have the winme software.

What is going on here? This is so strange.
This software has been sitting there, i dont even bump my post, its buried, and even so i now have 4 inquiries about it!
Very strange, but its there and first come first served as they say.

Because I do charity work, i can even consider trades for it. I build units that go to schoolkids who dont have a computer at home. I can take just about anything in trade pertaining to the low end of p3 on up, smaller hard drives, cpus, mobos, ram, etc.

I am still getting a whole lot of emails but some people are having difficulty emailing me and i dont know why, except for dorky spam software my isp uses.
