WTB- ATARI

[Sweeper]

Just came across TONS of old Atari games I have had since 1980. But the Atari system doesn't work. I am looking for a working ATARI system (reasonable cost) with what ever splitters, etc. that will connect to my sons TV. 19" , Takes both RCA and COAX. For some reason the system I have looks to be in good condition, but doesn't seem to work?

I have a friend who has a 2600 lying around. I don't think he uses it, but I'm not sure if he's willing to part with it either. I'll ask him and get back to ya'.

I still have my old atari in working condition with many games (a lot of them bought used years after atari went down), but sorry can't part.
I found another one a couple of years ago, perfect condition, had a bunch of games all of which had boxes including the system. It was at a garage sale and it was cheap. I bought it and gave it to a friend who didn't have one but loves games like I do. For some damn reason his mom must have thrown it away or his brothers stole it or something because it's gone now, but the box remains. This still burns me up! Who would do such a thing?!!

Sorry, didn't mean to crap, just show how much your actions effect the ones(consoles) you love. aww

If you monkey with the system enough I'm sure you can get it working. Cleaning and patience go a long way with the old systems. We won't lose this patient on my watch! Breathe! Breathe damn you!

NM.... I got mine fixed this morning. Had to do some wiring on the splitter. But it's working and my son is enjoying the "ORIGINAL" arcade games....

I was going to tell you to open it and see if anything was wrong.!
My sega master system wasn't working and when I opened it, it only took some soldering to a loose wire.!

I'm glad you got it working. I was looking around my parents garage looking for my old Atari and came across one of the old "pong" consoles. I'll test it out.
