Virtual PC turns a powerful mac into a crippled pc. It's an emulator and can never be as good as the real thing...I've tried it before and said screw it and just built a pc, it too darn slow....for about the same price as the software Unless you just HAVE to have virtual pc I'd get an actual PC. The only thing it's really good enough for is wordprocessing, and if that's what you want to do (pc wise) get Office X for the mac...great program.
Ive run pc emulation on mac. Ive run mac emu's on pc. Either way its slow cause of the dif. in cpu and mem architectures. Heck even the bios rom is totally dif. The only real pc on mac is a hardware dos card with a 486 cpu. But that obviously not very zoomy either. Best bet is to slap together a real budget box or pick up a cheap used one somwheres. Its the only way youll be able to run anything on it. Plus all the annoying-crap that goes with emualting. Just save yourself tons of grief trust me.
