WTB older IDE hdd and cdrom

Want to buy a 2-5gig Ide hdd. And a ide cdrom anything 4x and up. Looking for used and cheap to help a friend out (learning pc). Its a rebuilt Gateway 2000. Both drives DOA. Anyone have these let me know.
