Older Linux Distros: (free)

OK, I admit it. I never thought anyone would be interested in older Linux distros until I saw thronka's THREAD today. I am willing to make a simular offer if anyone is interested. I was about to toss these in the file 13, but you can have them if you have a need. This is what I have:

ONLY ONE COPY EACH / First come, first serve. @ no cost to you (I'll spring for shipping in the lower 48 U.S.).

RedHat 7.2 (CD # 1 & #2, download edition) bigblue77 has claimed this

Mandrake 8.1 (CD's # 1,2, & 3 download edition) aznlurkerz has claimed this

Mandrake 8.2 (CD's # 1,2, & 3 download edition) nuggettsmyname has dibs on this

These are all good distros which I have had installed on my PC's at one time or another. I will go by time and date of your PM. First PM gets the distro (please include your snailmail addy). Please, only one distro apiece.

Might be a good chance to play around with Linux a little on an older piece of equipment before you take the plunge and install Linux on your main box. Try it you'll like it!

Mike

EDIT:All distros are now gone..

RedHat 7.2 was the first Linux distro that I tried. I ran it on a Celeron 300 with 128mb sdram. It would be a good choice for that older box that you can't figure out what else to do with. Learn the ways of the penguin.

I mailed everyones software out yesterday afternoon. It's coming US Postal and the lady said to allow about 3 days for delivery.
