I got this as a gift but already have a few cameras. Price paid for this camera was $320 with tax.

Does the Maxtor have 8mb cache because I thought those are the only ones with a 3 year warranty and the 2mb has a 2 year warranty.

It has the 2 mb cache. I bought it late last year right before most HD manufacturers reduced the warranty period from 3 to 1 year. I just checked the warranty from Maxtor's website...it's good until 9/18/05. I will edit my initial post to correct this error. False advertising was not my intention. Thanks for the heads up.

Asking price for the hp 720 now reduced to $225 from $270. This camera is $300 at all the stores. All reasonable offers will be considered.
