FS/T 9500 & 2 mobo's

well, as some of you may have seen my 9500 bus problem post, i just got a brand new 9500 128MB that could mod to the 9700 today... and the dang thing is half broken. The company sent me the RMA without a problem, but i doubt even a testing team could have "efficiently" forseen this problem... sigh so im wanting to sell it with its 3 year warranty, all of its cables, or trade it just depending on what you have to offer [video cards are my main interest for this part, as i kind of need one] I paid about $190 for this brand new, and if sold, i will sell it for $160 shipped so that you can mess with the RMA process yourself, ive already done it once, and twice would drive me insane.

other items include:

guts to a compaq 5452 Presario desktop. In otherwords its motherboard w/ celeron 466, CPU, 64MB of Ram [pc100], windows 98[se?] and a buncha other software that came with it [i.e. encarta, other "educational" tools] has integrated video as well, *****PSU INCLUDED NOW AT NO EXTRA******* I suppose $65 shipped is fair, unless you have something to trade, and go ahead and ask, im open to lots of stuff.


Epox MVP3G-m w/ AMD K6-2 500 with 128MB of PC133 SDR: 1 Lucent Winmodem [v.90], 1 10/100 Lan card, 1 8MB ATI RAGE PRO 2X AGP video card, 1 10GB HDD, 1 24X CDROM, 1 floppy drive. All been used by me, good condition on all ends, only OC'd to 504 MHz with 112 FSB, completely stable, and doesn't get hot. Currently at that setting, and has been for the past year, no problems. I am asking $100 shipped for this baby or something[s] to trade for it. ask away PENDING

1 USB 1.1 card [i think its 1.1 right? that was the best revision to 1.0] bought it for $40 at BB about 9 months ago, im not sure why either but it got used for around 4 months, and has waited since. $25 shipped

1 wireless phone jack system called a RC926 from RCA. I bought this for $70 at walmart so i could use a computer all the way across the house for dial up, but it didn't perform like i wanted it to, and reacted to a HDD i used [old]. Works great if you have an older house with no phone jacks within site of the couch, just needs a plug in to work. 45$ shipped or trade

Almost everything but the compaq has a retail box or something that it came in, and i will include every instruction manual possible, because like many others here, i am a packrat and never throw anything away.

bump, feel free to offer me something, i am limited to the amount of time that the video card is available [9500] because my ability to model/render is completely severed, and in about 2 weeks i have to be up and running, so about 2 more days before its gone.

I will accept the exact amount asked or your best offer, i kind of need to get rid of these extra computers, my lab is a disaster from all of these things.

oh, i also forgot, if you guys are looking for any socket 7/370/A heatsinks, i got a bunch that are made especially for overclocking.

Um i believe one is a Vantec Tornado [loud as a tornado, and pushes as much air] another one like it...
i think i have 3 heatsinks, and 3 60MM fans designed to fit on any of them. some louder than others, some more CFM. Have 2 coolermaster fans, one made for a 1.4 thunderbird (2100+ too) and one made for a 2200+, i used both of these for awhile, so i will only trade for these

i don't want to get into how much money they are worth.

People like you have made it possible for me to put together and give out 8 computers so far this year. That may not sound like a lot but I am only 1 person doing the actual work. Plus I have to spend a lot of time cobbling together the parts usually to get a unit going.
Not too often that I get a whole unit that is working perfectly and has a lan connection. Plus then I have to go out and get a monitor and printer and printer cartridge to get the kid started.
These are, after all, charity deals, they cant afford to go out and buy a cartridge sometimes. I get as many used cartridges as I can and fill them up as its cheaper but I dont have every cartridge made for every printer either.
So its a lot of work but worth it.

And along come people like Kip and others right here at tech imo who send me mobos, processors, ram, cdroms, you name it.
Even though I am American as well, actually have dual c, I tip my hat to my American associates. They are very generous!!
