Why not just buy a slocket and a 1gig socket 370 chip since they are cheaper and more plentiful. Slockets can be had for around $6.50.

And if you wanted to you could get a slocket that allows tualitan and get a killer setup that way.

Heres a tualitan adapter for $19.95, then you could just go to newegg or tcwo and get the tualitan cpu. Tualitan celerons are a pretty good buy...they have 256k cache.

Beware the tualitan quagmire. You have to have a motherboard/chipset combo that specifically handles them unless that slot adapter will initialize the two extra pins that you need for it.

Just for the record the "slot T" adapter is made FOR tualitans so naturally it addresses the pinout differences etc.

But he doesnt need to get a tualitan, he can just get a slocket for about $7 that goes to 133 and buy a much cheaper socket370 cpu.

Actually, slockets have failed with this board. And it runs on the 133 mhz bus, not 100.

I can get my hands on some, but they're close to $200. I was hoping somebody had some laying around er something.

Here's a suggestion, have you tried a PIII 750 slot-1 OC'd to 133fsb thus giving you 1000/133?

Worth a shot.
