Yes, show me your programs and be sure to furnish your source. I'm just casually asking assuming that this post will start to evolve and a battle of egos will take place, leaving the code for extrodinary programs in my lap, (as well as everyone elses). Hmmm....

On a lighter note, of course people program for fun. I suggest checking out http://www.scene.org for some amazing talent. These people create an amazing show (sight and sound) with amazingly small file sizes. The ones that really impress me are the <64k ones with stunning 3d and sound.

And for the record, the only program language to have fun with is still QBasic

I program just for the heck of it. PHP (ha! I suck), HTML (anybody can do that), C++ (I'm learning) and QBasic (required for programming 1 in HS). I don't really have a collection of programs. They're more like a collection of scripts.

I do whenever I need the computer to do something. I usually check for a program to do it first, but it's not all that difficult to code (at least IMO).
