WTB: Athlon XP 2700 Barton

Does anyone know where I can pick up the XP 2700 Barton? I have looked all over and have only been able to find the 2700 t'breds.

i thought they only had bartons in 2500.2800, and 3000

I could be wrong though

Well, on eBay I have seen them. That is why I am asking. It shows up as 640k cache so that would mean it is the Barton, right?

ok ilooked on ebay and the description they gave was just a coverall for athlon xp processors. The features it gave were for the newest techonology xp processors. I went to the site of the seller on ebay and the description for his xp 2700 processor said 384 cache

Well, I gues that there isn't one then. No, newegg wouldn't have them because they don't exist.

Well, I would but, I ain't got $575 to spend on it. I was going to get it through Gabe because he could get it for less than 300 but, he said he would have to pay something like $100 or something. I am not exactly sure what he meant but, I guess I will have to get it from eBay. That is the cheapest place to get the 2800. I will make sure I get a retail CPU and not an OEM.
