Wanted

I have a P1 Acer Aspire 5150sr that has a 55VLA mobo socket 7. Want upgrade so I am in need of a faster cpu, 4 32 meg 72 pin sticks that are compatible, 10 gig HD that will work in this unit. Or a complete package upgrade that will fit my case, I.E. mobo (at least support 233 mghz), Cpu (233 mghz or higher), memory (128 or higher), HD (10 gig). I am a home bound disabled individual on a limited income. I can not afford a new higher end computer so I am looking for anyone that can give me a good deal on the above request. Thank You!

And welcome to Techimo. You'll find a lot of helpful folks here. (And they all seem to tolerate my ignorance - lol!).

The only problem I've found with my limited experience with those Acer Aspires, is that the motherboard and drive mountings are not standard ATX format, they're proprietary.

But I think there are enough folks around here who might have some stuff lying around. I have some 72-pin memory modules, but unfortunately, they're only 8MB or so, maybe even less. But you are welcome to them.
