Question: (Nothing For Sale) Anyone Interested?

Hey All,

Just out of curiousity, Would anyone be interested in some old technology?

I have seen lots of old technology lately. This includes stuff like the following:

Lexmark printers from at least 1997 - 1998?

HP Photo Copiers from at least 1994 - 1998? (Desktop & Copiers On Wheels)

Old Heavy HP Scanners with scsi interfaces. (Very Heavy) Not sure of the years.

And so on. Even old monitors, keyboards, etc

Would stuff like this interest any of you? Alot of it would be great for people who can't afford expensive equipment.

What does everyone think?

Dane

Yep. Some people I know still uses the old systems because it does their jobs. Nothing more. I have a friend who ran his tv business with a 486 dx2-50, ega monitor, and dot matrix printer. He started his business with it and retired with it. I upgraded one with a p75 to p233 so she can use a cd burner for photography. One I upgraded her memories so she can use dsl on her p166. Lots of people are very reluctant to mess with their systems. Most common complaints? "What do you mean I need this or that? I paid $1600 - $2300 for that damn thing!"

So you guys are interested in this stuff? I can even get this weird video editing keyboard. Dunno how old it is, but it is a magnavox, and has a connecter like a phone line cord on it.

Those old keyboards would've be the heavy 'clicky-key' keyboards that IBM made a while ago, would they?

Hey Ruler,

I'd Have to check. Are you interested in some? Luckily, I've seen them before <and had one>. I Believe they are mostly window key keyboards. Still pretty good though.
