dead thread!!
My pm area has been messed up for some time now. I keep getting emails saying that so and so tried to email me but my pm area is full. Also, I try to delete some pms and they wont delete. I use the check mark, do it right but its not working.
Socalgal tried to help me and I did what she said, I deleted my cookies, that has only helped delete some pms and keep them deleted.
Still, my pm area only has 3 or 4 pms and it still says its full.
I am going to delete them all if I can but I imagine I will still get messages via email saying my pm is full.
So, it you want to contact me, please use email: kingbee@cogeco.ca

thanks

YGPM
hehe, just kidding.
cant you just make some new folders and move everything to the folders to empty out the inbox?? Thats what I did. Took me a while to figure it out since there is no "enter" button once you put the name of the new folders in...so you just have to intuitively hit "enter"
Also, I cant remember the specifics but there are two ways to delete...I had problems doing it the one way but the other wy worked.

Um... do you have it set to "show messages from: the beginning" ? If not, that's why it keeps saying your inbox is full, but you can only see a few.

ditto here, dont know what you mean. I only know one way of deleting, that is, where there is a little box and it says delete, you put a check mark in there and click on "delete". It deletes whatever you checked off.
I do that, But when I leave and come back to tech imo there the buggers are again!!
I use internet sweeper, current version 6.o i think, I have it set to delete cookies and I do that as well.

I meant that I think you can delete while you are looking at the whole inbox OR you can have the individual message open and delete from there.
Did you say you dont know how to make folders???? Thats what you need to do.
Ask a mod how to do it. Then you just move everything to the folders to clear out the inbox.
I dont have cookies enabled at all so I dont know about the cookie thing.
