Hi RAR, it's been a while since I have logged on to TechIMO, how ya been? I see that you still have the Bekin USB to Serial adapter that was part of your original listing of this thread; I had thought that a USB to Serial adapter could come in handy for something, but couldn't think of anything until I realized that my Internet Telephone has a serial port for a printer, so that I can print out web pages on the rare occasion that I am surfing using its 7.5 inch screen. I still have Pinnacle Studio Version 7 SE, and also have Ulead VideoStudio 5.0 (doubles of each, so I am willing to trade one of each) for the USB to Serial adapter and external zip drive,- or we can maybe work out a part cash deal. The USB to serial adapter is female USB and male serial on opposite end, correct?

Good to hear from you again, Dragon Slayer! I usually log in once a day or so to check up on things. The usb serial adapter I have is used to connect palm or pocket pc's that are serial versions to the usb port. So the usb side is the normal plug that plugs into the computer and the serial part is male that the palm serial connection would plug into. I have pictures if you want to see them. I have since purchased Studio 8 (free after rebates on one of those after Thanksgiving Day deals) and I have Ulead VideoStudio 6 that came with my AIW card. You got anything else to trade?

I thought that was probably what the adapter would be (USB interface from serial); I guess it won't work for my purpose of pluggging a USB printer into the female serial printer connector on the back of my internet telephone. I still may be interested in the external zip drive: you list it as blue in color, so I have a pretty good idea of which one it is,- but it would be good if I can see a pic of the actual item; I'll have to see what I can come up with for trade , or maybe a part cash part trade on something,- I see what I can find of possible interest to you.
