Misc A Great Pair of Wireless Haedphones

I recently purchase a pair of radio Shack wireless headphones ( model # 33-1196 ) and had to tell someone how great these headphones are.
I Originally Purchased a pair of RCA wireless headphones. I had to tune in the signal on the headset and the transmitter, When I got the signal there was a constant hissing sound and the reception faded in and out. I thought that maybe all the 900MHz headphones would be like this so I returned the RCA’s but figured I’ll give the Radio Shack brand a try, they were 10 bucks more ($79.99).
These headphones are great. They have great sound with deep base. They make my MP3 player sound like a big stereo system. All I did was plug everything in and in a matter of minutes I was enjoying great stereo sound from my MP3 player and MP3’s directly from my PC.
There is no hissing in the background, the signal stays strong throughout the house ( even when I’m standing next to the microwave.)
For $79.99 these headphones are well worth the money.
I hope this was helpful to someone out there who is in the market for wireless headphones.
One last thing, I would recommend using alkaline batteries instead of re-chargeables (these headphone can take both).

I’ve got some old radio shack ones that I use. I should upgrade. Haven’t had a prob with them yet my friend put reg batteries in them then forgot and hooked them up to be charged the batteries later exploded but the headphones still work fine (with new batteries of course).

Radio Shack is a bit funny to me. On one hand their sales people aren't the brightest, some of their products are junk and some times their prices are too high, but on the other hand they have a lot of stuff other big electronic stores don't and some of their products can't be beat...like these headphones.

I have a few different portable mp3 players. When I am doing mindless work I like to listen to mp3's, audiobooks, etc.

Is there a wireless headphone for mp3 players and gadgets that small?
If I can get one for my mp3 player I am gonna do just that. I never even thought of it. And here's a guy with all the gadgets. They call me inspector gadget because of the toys I have. Or maybe its the way i look! lol

I do have a wireless heaphone setup so I can watch tv while the fiancee is sleeping.

Today most wireless headphones can be plugged into mini jacks 1/8 plug with an included adapter. The Radio Shack model 33-1196 comes with a Y adater which enables you to plug the transmitter into an mp3 player. I use them with my Archos Jukebox Studio 10 mp3 player and they sound great.
