i need a PCI vid card to hook up a third monitor. Dont want to spend much maybe a few bucks. have AGP card and PCI card allready in the system. just want another PCI card to hook up last monitor.
What kind of specs on that card are you looking for? I have a Diamond Stealth 3200 PCI card. I think it has 2mb of memory. Pulled from an old working computer. It's at home so I don't remember all the specs.

Is trash day coming soon, in your neighborhood? Do you visit any local landfills of dumps? Get jiggy with your local PC upgrader and ask for a handout? You near a college? Ask the computer people for castoffs. Dumpsters behind CompUSA/Circuit City/BestBuy/Staples? Local Goodwill thrift store?

Hey whatever works. The local thriftstores are a wealth of cheap computer parts. Mostly run by older ladies, non of them know what that stuff is,and it's free to them, so a 16 mb PCI card is a buck,along with a CD-ROM,modems,nics.

I went to every electronic store in my areo and everyone infaticly refused to allow me to rumage through anything. and every thrift shop i went to 10 total had diddly no electronic devices at all except 1 it had a nintendo game i think it was "skate or die"
