WTB: Cheap System
I'm wanting to buy a cheap box that I could use for a small LAN server for games like CS and MOHAA, as well as use it as a NAT/Router database server.
I would like a system that has:
At least 600MHz proc, socket 370/P4, socket A. No slot CPUs.
At least 128MB of RAM.
At least 10GB HDD.
10/100 adapter or built-in.
Only need one cd-rom drive >8x, no DVD or cd burner needed.
Would like one that had a small/quiet case. The smaller the better.
Video card doesn't have to be great but usable.
No modem needed.
And it would need to be under $200. I might go to $250.
I've seen some on the net that have been better than what I've requested for $200. I'm just wanting to see if somebody has a box they want to get rid of or were upgrading and didn't need it anymore.
