2 Laptop cdrom drives for most laptops:

--External USB CD drive, 24x, unopened, unused, untested. Vintech. I can't find a manufacturer link or a pic so I opened it and tested it on XP, where it is detected fine and works great! Device Manager shows it as ACS-624 CD-ROM USB DEVICE. Nice kit includes power supply, usb cable, line in/out cable. Pictures available upon request. $35 SHIPPED

--External PCMCIA CD drive, 24x, opened, works! Exp Computer Co., supports Windows thru 2000/NT plus LINUX so I'll bet it works with XP as well. Known good, last tested on a CTX lappy. Powered from your laptop!Looks like this. $35 SHIPPED
