I finally got my $$ from a troll! Beware of this guy...

Hi everybody!

In March, I sent $56 for a keyboard for my PDA that I bought on eBay. I waited and waited and it never came. I checked back and noticed the guy had been unregistered for scamming other people. He had 30+ good evals with 0 neg/neutral until this. I thought I'd never see the money again. I stayed vigilant and after 7 months I found the guys' home address (he had been at school before). He had moved back home and created a web page that conveniently gave me all the info I needed. I called and talked to his dad (he was 17 at the time of the transaction) who knew that this kid had scammed people. So he vowed to send me the money. Another month went by and I heard nothing. I called him again and he asked for proof. Well, I sent him a string of emails from me to his son and from eBay and Paypal describing what happened. After 2 more calls, the money order came for $60. Over 8 months, but I got my money back. The kid still swears that he sent it, but he gave me a bogus DC from USPS that resolved to KY (I was in AL at the time).

So, thanks to Socalgal, who helped me out a bit. And beware of this guy:
