FS: 300W Enlight PSU *AS IS*

It's just a 300w Enlight PSU, with ATX and P4 connections. I listed it as *AS IS* because I was having some problems with it... but that started only after I added 3 12w case fans, (Vantec Tornados) so I think it was just overloaded. Even after that, it worked fine for the most part, but once in a while I'd get a random reboot, for which I could find no reason except not enough power. $20 shipped -- Sold to rourkchris!!.

Payment: PayPal/money order

Heatware: EndobioticChaos

There is a grey area of PSU loading where you are not causing the protection circuit to act, but are still above ratings. If a PSU is overloaded into this area (above rated load is overload), the specifications for some functions are no longer applicable because the performance is not designed (nor specified nor guaranteed) in this region; so as endo mentions, possibly the PSU was still above ratings even after the fans were taken off the PSU connections. Makes sense to me, a career power supply technician.

Further, the response of the PSU to overload should not be to drop out completely, but his system mobo might have been sensitive to some PSU parameter which changed when the loading crossed into the grey area of overloading. This system sensitivity and dropout can certainly be related to what a PSU delivers when it is overloaded.
