FS: lite-on 48x12x48 cdrw, 128MB lexar memory stick, 120gb maxtor external FT

FS: Cendyne Branded Lite-on 48X12x48x, flashed from 40X. virtually new, used for one week. burned about 10cds, works great.
$45 shipped bare, $47 w/ retail box (adds to weight).

FT: 120GB Maxtor External USB drive, new+wrapped. Looking for trade for external firewire drive of similar caliber w/ 4pin-6pin cable.

FS: Brand New Lexar 128MB Memory stick. Purple color (not translucent). Brand New. SOLD.

Flashed from 40x? I don't understand. Can you post a little more info about this drive? Does it come with IDE cable, sound cable, or Nero burning software? Thanks.

sure it comes with all that stuff. lite on drives 48X and 40X are the same hardware. so it's labeled a 40X but it's really a 48. you just upgrade the chip software.

it was 40125S and it is now a 48125W version VS06. flash was obtained from cdrinfo.com. it can always be reflashed to whatever firmware you want.

Not to overly support the flashing part, but ppl flash their 40x drives quite frequently with the 48x bios and have no problems. It's quite common.
