Anyone Want an Old Computer?

I have a desktop case with an ABIT IT5H mainboard and Pentium 166 that I do not need anymore and if someone can use I will ship it to you at cost. I live in the California Bay Area. I may be awy from the forum for the next few hours but will check back later in the afternoon.

I do get old pcs and rebuild them for a half-way house as volunteer work. The residents are recovering drug/alcohol addicts. We are working to set up a learning center for them as vocational rehabilitation. They must get jobs etc and I figure if they can learn how to use a pc it might help them. So far I have frankensteined together 4 for them, nothing fancy but they do work. I don't think they would be able to pay to get it shipped but if anyone in my area has pc related stuff PM me. And its a TAX DEDUCTION!!!!!

I have hit up everybody I know and everybody I do a service call for up for stuff, and it's coming , in a trickle, at least it's coming. Some of the stuff I have gotten I don't know what to do with, some goes into the dumpster, some I get up and running in no time but I like doing it.

OK I am going to pack it up and send it to Fyxxer. I hope that someone gets some good use out of it because I sure did...it was the first machine that I ever built.You could teach them how to overclock it because that little chip went up to 233
