hi,

I posted a laptop for sale on Ebay and this individual sent me an email told me that he would sent out the payment using paypal. He told me to ship overnite to his grandson as a birthday present on last Friday. I said okay, then he pay me using paypal. He didn't want to have the signature sign by anyone except to leave the package outside the door so his grandson have it as a surprise when he arrived home from school. I told him okay too. He paid me using paypal, and i shipped overnite using Airborne Express without getting any signature. Then 2 days ago he called up his credit card, and paypal reversed my transaction. I emailed him back asking him to pay me for the reversed amount that paypal took from my account. He said okay, he'll do it the next day that's today. I emailed him back today and he told me that he was about to paypal me but his grandson said he never received my laptop. Now today (4 days later) he's claiming that his grand son never received the package?. What the heck? What should i do? I already sent paypal the tracking number, but don't know what paypal going to do with the money. Any idea would help? I told him that i would take him to court if he won't pay me back the money.

Dang, you got screwed. This dude is out ot get ya.

NEVER send anything as expensive as a laptop without using insurance AND a signature upon receipt.
Without a signature you have no proof whatsoever of who received the package and if they ever did!

Man, I don't know how you can turn this around, that guy isn't going to pay you, and you have no proof he got the package. (Even if the post office left it without a signature someone could eaisly have grabbed the box before the residents did)

Dang man, I feel for ya. Try to push it as far as ya can I guess :-/ report him to teh trollhunters. Not sure who that is here now.

I'd find out where he lives and kill him.
But if your not that violent, I suggest you contact ebay, they maybe able to help you.
Whats his feedback like?

I think he's out to screw me. I'm in deep sh**... at first he said that his paypal account was stolen that's why he canceled all the transaction from his credit card. Then he said he promise to paypal me the next day. The next day came around he said that he was about to paypal me until he noticed that his grandson never received the laptop. Damm.. i should have known better to get the signature and insurance for the exact amount on the laptop. He told me not to insure it because there would be no need. Damm screw me

or do you just have his "grandson's" info (probably bogus mind you). Also you didn't happen to ship this to a PO did you?

only got his claim info of his grandson.. no i shipped using Airborne express. He didn't let me ship it using fedex for some reason. He told me to ship it P.O but i refused and shipped Airborne Express.

I was gonna say the samething.. Is there anyway you can find out where he lives. That's just wrong.. Maybe not kill.. But a good A$$ whippin' would be in line for something like that.. "I GET MEAN, WHEN YOU MESS WITH MY GREEN"!!!

If you find out he/she is with in a 100 mile either way of Austin Tx. let me know
