For those who dig this deep.

There have been so many trolls around, some new ones as well, that it would pay a person to visit first page of trading section for tech imo,anandtech, ars tech, pcabusers, amdmb, etc.
Gives you a chance to get the names of the newest trolls and bad shippers. This is important as they dont always make the main troll list or it takes a while for them to get there, the mods have to check things out thoroughly, and, because there are so many boards around, some can even get lost in the shuffle, although this is not a critique, the mods do a terrrific, free job.
But it wouldnt hurt traders to have a look around this time of year.

What we, as traders, have to do is make sure the mods get the info they need. Just because we have read something doesnt always guarantee the mods and troll-hunters have, they are busy and have a life as well. So we all need to help there. This has been told to me by more than one mod. So help them out.

I just read a thread where a few people reported they got trolled a few months back but never reported it. This should never happen. The members are the first line of defence. Without our input the trolls go their merry way and the mods and troll-hunters are left in the dark! We must report this stuff right away, without jumping the gun though. But a guy waiting 6 months for a mobo is well over 5 months late to report his troll.

We all need to help out here.

I read that whole thread last week, i understand how you feel and i agree with you.

I understand how you feel, really do. You go in there and tell people how long you have been waiting and the guy just ignores you, no contact for weeks after you paid your money.
Damn ignorant of him!

One thing though is that you should go back and clean out the language. I know you are angry and have the right to be. But the mods have to read all this and bad language is also against the rules. You really should edit for just that, the language, personally, i agree with the rest of what you said in the first link.

Ok, I read the second link. As i said in my previous post, i did think that i had posted there and sure enough, now i have read my two posts in your second thread, so you can see i am on your side here.

It is unfortunate that your thread was locked, but, as the mod said, wait til this Friday and see if you have your dvd's.
While i agree with everything you had to say about this poor trader, he has already given you back $10, so i think he owes you $8 and apparently he says that all dvds have been shipped, which means you should get 2 dvds for $8.
Plus, if i read this right, you have already put in a complaint with paypal so you will likely get $8 or maybe even $19 back from them and they will freeze his account?
So i think you are in relatively good shape and it wont hurt to wait til Friday. The seller, Kwit, has posted that he screwed up, actually used the f word, anyway he screwed up and he admits it.
These are the words, at this point, of a very poor trader, but not yet a troll, even though i am on your side and agree with you.
Now please dont say any bad words about me because of what i say, i think i am being realistic here at the very least.

You can bet that, come Fri, if you dont have your dvds that all hell will break loose and you will be allowed to post, even start a new one with a link to the original, they wont stop you then, they are only asking you to give it a rest til Friday.

I do understand how you feel, i hate these kind of people, thats why i am taking this time to post here, but, the guy did come out and say he screwed up and will fix things and it appears you have $11 of $19 already given back and may get your dvds by Fri and you have a claim in with paypal, so it wont hurt to wait?

We ARE on your side here. But the fact that he has given over half the money back and claims the dvds are sent makes him look less like a troll and more like someone who screwed up, at least in your case. Trolls dont give money back as a rule!
Although I was recently successful in getting a troll to give back 3 money orders and a playstation2 with games, but that is an exception to the rule, they usually dont give money back and Kwit has given you $11 back to far and only is asking you wait a few days. Doesnt change anything but continued posting wont change anything til at least friday! And there is the matter of bandwidth.

And, in case you didnt know, this has been brought to the attention of the mods, who are just waiting to see exactly how deep the hole is going to be before they write their obit for Kwit.
In other words, will it be that this guy doesnt reply to emails or pm's and such in a timely fashion after taking your money, or will it be that this guy takes your money and doesnt deliver the goods. One is bad enough, the other is worse.
So they are just waiting to see what happens in the end as to who gets their dvds and possibly, who didnt get them.
So just give it a rest for a bit is all they are saying, and then there is the language in the first thread as well, in addition to the fact that you have received $11 back with a promise that the dvds are not only on their way to you but to several others.
