I hate it when a previously good trader goes bad Also found and now banned from TIMO.
Another addition to the Bad Traders List:
aka Clock2theMax. Lives in Bristol, TN. Screwing over another trader. The typical troll lies about shipping etc..

Scam on ebay
Scam online at ebay...
Go to http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...tem=1389996035 and view the auction.
Ebay user name: cuserde
Email address used: cuserde@mailjolt.com
Name used: Ryan Lewis
Named used in email: Anne Vossahlik
Here is the email that person sent me.
-------------------------------
Dear Sir,
understan you but you must understand me because in past I have sent the product first before but i have received no money so please understand me that i can't send it again. I know many people are not confortable with this method but i provide you a very safe method. Usually when you make the transfer to western union you have to fill in a form with my name and adress .Here are my details you need for the transfer;
FIRST NAME:Anne
LAST NAME:Vossahlik
ADRESS; street maison god,no 45
CITY:Paris
COUNRY:France
ZIP:75014
But for your safety you can do this:you make the transfer to another name (so in the place of the receiver you write your father, mother, friend or cousin name).then you email me the money transfer control number and the name choosen by you (father, mother, friend or cousin name) so i can go to western union office and verify if the money are in bank. As you already know i can't cash the money because they are not sent to my name .After i see that the money are in bank i send you the product and when you receive it and check it you call to western union and change the transfer to my name so i can collect the money.I think this is fair way ,safe and fast.
Hope we will clsoe this deal succesfully and more in the future.

| MFAGunner - Welcome. This thread/forum is primarily for reporting private traders on BBS computer traders forums, not auction sites. However some have been known and found to cross into BBS territory.
Have you notified eBay through Safe Harbor and/or in their Community forums? If not, it might be a good place to post your info and get feedback.
On another note, if you have reason to believe the seller is a business (or alleged business) vs. an individual, you might want to check out the General Discussion and Buyer Guidance forum.
Hi Bill, I'm still around, here and there - thanks The best forum for vendors is General Discussion and Buyer Guidance If you have actually dealt with rebatesHG - then you will want to leave feedback on www.resellerratings.com - not "Troll Alert", which is for private traders on BBS traders forums.

Hey Socalgal,
First, thanks for quarterbacking on the heatware regs,
thought of PM ing but instead try to catch you here. Bill's comment echoes some postings that have grown out of a plea for help on a cendyne rebate in the deals and steals directory. maybe that thread which i started oughta be moved to general discussion and buyer guidance and then I can rechristen it as a complaints clearinghouse. The other idea is that of a new thread where members try to organize a group with an ombudsperson who could represent multiple members? that's a stickier wicket, admittedly..

Hi /dev
You're welcome re Heat.
I see... admittedly, I don't get over to Doc's D&S forum much, but I agree your thread would be better placed in the General Discussion & Guidance forum... Redirected to here.

| Why not? Give it a shot. The worst thing can happen is, it doesn't happen, eh? |

Socalgal - Thanks.
I've been doing some more research. This scam goes deep. There are multiple people trying to sell items on ebay and yahoo all from the Ukraine. They want people to use an escrow service. It seems all fine and dandy, but this escrow service is just a front. you will never see your money/goods. Go to www.globalescrow.net This is their front. Also, go to www.escrow.com Notice something similar? They just ripped off their website and called it their own.
Moral of the story... they want you to send them money in the form of a western union wire transfer and then send them the control number. (hahaha) They say their company is based out of Nevada, but when I did a search on the address they listed it was actuall not globalescrow as the name, it came up as Pacific Capital Svc Corp. Also, the person they want you to give the money to doesn't exist.
I'm making up a report right now to send to The Internet Fraud Complaint Center at http://www1.ifccfbi.gov/index.asp
If anyone has any info about this so called company, email it to me or post it here.

Prolly best to stay away from deals with Chaotictech http://forums.anandtech.com/messagev...hlight _key=y jmsrca@hotmail.com Jmsrca@bellsouth.net Heatware
Owes harddrives on a deal and never shipped, though he keeps promising to send them. Bounced back emails. Now it's the Paypal / family problems excuses...
This post will be updated if and when he comes through.
* Edit 11.20.2002: Victim receives his 3 drives in poorly packaged shipping box after waiting 6 weeks. One of the drives is dead and now victim must wait 10 days for RMA.
